FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What Kind of Wax Do You Use?
100% Coconut Soy Wax with no other additives.
What is Coconut Soy Wax, and What are Its Benefits?
Coconut soy wax is a natural, eco-friendly alternative to traditional paraffin wax, which is a petroleum by-product and emits known carcinogens when burned. It burns cleaner and longer (you get more bang for your buck!), and is biodegradable, renewable, sustainable, and non-toxic, making it safe for you and the environment.
Made with a blend of 100% (non-GMO) Coconut and soy wax. Coconut soy wax is a natural, non-toxic, biodegradable, and renewable sustainable resource. Our wax candles are paraffin-free and burn cleaner, cooler, slower, and more evenly than other waxes.

Environmentally friendly
Essentially, no candle flame will be entirely soot-free. However, in comparison to palm and paraffin counterparts, coconut soy wax candles burn the cleanest, with minimal sooting (when burned properly).
Comprised of entirely organic and renewable materials, our candle have very minimal environmental impact.
Slow-burning + Great Hot Throw
Coconut candle waxes are slow-burning, with a superior scent throw. Their ability to hold fragrances is top-notch. They provide a strongly scented candle whose scented burn lasts hours after other lesser-quality wax candles.
Are These Essential Oil Candles?
While our candles do have essential oils in them as part of their scent, they are not pure essential oil candles. We generally prefer to use high-quality, clean-burning fragrance oils infused with essential oils because these oils will produce a stronger scent for you to enjoy while being more economically feasible.
Plus, a lot of essential oils have a low flash point, the temperature when the oil will evaporate and vaporize. Low flash points make many of these essential oils not appropriate for candles on their own.
Are The Fragrances in Your Candles Safe?
Yes, the fragrance oils we use are safe for us to work and for you to enjoy as part of our candles in your home. We only purchase the safest scents on the market, free of carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other concerning chemicals like phthalates.
Our suppliers proudly adhere to “industry-leading safety standards” because safety matters when it comes to what we’re bringing into our homes.
What Are Your Wicks Made Of?
We use cotton wicks for our candles for a long, clean burn. These wicks are made with natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper to add rigidity. Our wicks are lead-free and zinc-free.
Do You Have Wood Wicks?
Not now, but we may bring them back someday!
